Initial Evaluation & Plan of Care

Service Description

The OT will meet with the individual being evaluated and the caregiver or family to assess the individual's functional challenges (this may include difficulties with motor coordination, strength, sensory processing, emotional regulation, attention, and more) that impact that person's ability to participate in meaningful occupations. Once the evaluation is completed, the OT will provide the family with a plan to work on the identified areas of need during therapy sessions (if needed) as well as supportive tips and recommendations to implement at home.
