Initial Evaluation & Plan of Care

Service Description

During an initial evaluation, I will meet with you and your child to assess your child’s current abilities, strengths and needs through a series of activities and tests that address motor coordination, strength, sensory processing, emotional regulation, attention, social participation, and more. I also consider different factors in your child’s environments (home, school, parks, etc.) that may be supporting or affecting your child’s participation. We will then work together to set meaningful goals and a plan to achieve them that may include OT sessions, parent coaching, and strategies to implement consistently at home.
